Silène Fry x Pequignet

An exclusive collection for the Pequignet boutique
Tokimeku Yüyake is a collection of ten exclusive pieces, born from the meeting of Pequignet’s watchmaking excellence and the sensitive artistry of ceramicist Silène Fry. The exhibition can be viewed at the PEQUIGNET boutique, located at 60 Rue de Rennes, Paris, from October 23 to November 18, 2025.
A Meeting
The Tokimeku Yūyake collection embodies, through its inspired shapes and orange-hued twilight colors, an aesthetic quest and a tactile craftsmanship that resonates with Pequignet’s vision of the “artist-engineer,” placing design and French elegance at the forefront. The combination of ceramic artisanal skill and French Haute Horlogerie creates singular pieces, enriched by material and movement, celebrating both technical excellence and pure creative vibration.
Ceramic Creations in the Colors of the Manufacture
Tokimeku Yūyake is a special collection created at Pequignet’s invitation, inspired by the Maison’s colors that recall the light of twilight—the moment when the sky ignites in orange and pink before gently fading. Each piece captures this ephemeral breath, like an inner vibration suspended between intensity and delicacy

Tokimeku Yūyake: a heart that beats with joy
The name of this collection perfectly reflects the joyful thrills experienced during the creation and discovery of the pieces, at the moment they emerge from the kiln. The work with material and textures on these wheel-thrown forms—somewhere between the Japanese Tsubo and the Korean Moon Jar—marks the starting point of this creative exploration, guided above all by a simple yet essential principle: following one’s joy.
Silène Fry, or the celebration of happy accidents
Having grown up between France and Switzerland, Silène developed a deep connection with the natural world and a passion for tactile artistic activities. In 2017, her career led her to New York, where she discovered Japanese ceramics—a practice that profoundly shaped her sense of purpose and artistic identity. In 2021, after moving to Paris, she founded her own ceramics brand, driven by a desire to create objects that resonate in everyday life.
Silène’s work thrives on instinct and spontaneity. Free from preconceived ideas or rigid constraints, she allows her creative process to be guided by what she affectionately calls “happy accidents.” Her ceramics embody movement, texture, and authenticity, inviting the audience to embrace imperfection and celebrate the beauty found in the unexpected.
